BIM Coordinator

About the role

The BIM Coordinator will be based on‑site in Damascus, supporting ULTRA PRO ENGINEERING’s digital engineering projects across Qatar and the region. This full‑time position involves managing BIM models, ensuring compliance with standards, and facilitating coordination among architectural, structural, and MEP teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee creation, update and maintenance of BIM models for multidisciplinary projects.
• Ensure models adhere to project BIM Execution Plans and ISO 19650 standards.
• Conduct clash detection, resolve coordination issues, and support digital workflow processes.
• Prepare model‑based deliverables, documentation and data extraction reports.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of BIM coordination, model management and clash detection.
• Fundamental understanding of architectural design principles and experience with MEP models.
• Project management abilities, including planning, task tracking and stakeholder coordination.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM 360 or similar cloud collaboration platforms.
