Architectural Drafter – Shop Drawings & CNC/Laser/Sheet Metal

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Drafter to convert architectural concepts into production‑ready cut files for CNC, laser cutting, and sheet‑metal fabrication. The role is fully remote and project‑based, offering flexible workload and the chance to work with a diverse set of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and dimensioned drawings that meet production standards.
• Convert architectural drawings into CNC/laser‑ready file formats such as DWG, DXF, and SVG.
• Interpret sketches, PDFs, and redline notes to ensure parts fit together on the first try.
• Collaborate with junior engineers and designers, providing mentorship and technical guidance when needed.

Required profile

• Strong architectural drafting experience.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to produce accurate, scaled drawings and to work from informal sketches or redlines.
• Excellent English communication skills.
