Data Center Assurance Lead

About the role

The Assurance & Supervision Lead will oversee quality, compliance and workmanship for all design, construction and fit‑out activities across data centre sites in Syria. Reporting to the Site Management Lead, the role acts as the primary quality gate between contractor delivery and project acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site construction and installation activities, ensuring work follows approved drawings, specifications and quality plans.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits across civil, structural, MEP and finishing disciplines; issue non‑conformance reports where needed.
• Review contractor method statements, inspection‑test plans and material submittals for compliance before work starts.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, track progress against the programme and flag delays or workmanship concerns.
• Maintain a comprehensive site assurance log with inspection records, photos, test certificates and corrective‑action evidence.
• Support handover by verifying testing, commissioning and acceptance criteria and preparing handover packages.
• Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve technical queries and RFIs, ensuring formal documentation.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental requirements in collaboration with contractor HSE representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering or related field (diploma with extensive site supervision experience acceptable).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction supervision, quality assurance or site management, preferably on data centre or critical‑facility projects.
• Syrian national preferred; Arabic language preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale infrastructure projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
