Director of Brand Marketing

About the role

Mediawia, a fast‑growing technology company in Syria, is seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to shape its brand identity and market positioning. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the overall marketing strategy and drive brand awareness across all customer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead Mediawia’s comprehensive brand and marketing strategy.
• Maintain a consistent brand identity across digital, retail, and B2B channels.
• Plan and execute integrated campaigns, product launches, events, exhibitions and promotional activities.
• Oversee content creation for social media, website, digital platforms and corporate communications.
• Design go‑to‑market strategies for new products, categories and business initiatives.
• Build, manage and develop the marketing and creative team.
• Collaborate with sales, retail, e‑commerce and business development to align marketing with commercial goals.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to identify opportunities.
• Set marketing KPIs, measure campaign effectiveness and report performance regularly.
• Enhance customer engagement, brand awareness and market reach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing, branding or communications.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media and content strategy.
• Ability to translate business objectives into practical marketing plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Experience managing teams, projects or budgets is preferred.
• Background in technology, electronics, imaging, retail or e‑commerce is an advantage.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ad Dana, Idlib Governorate.
