HR Manager – Syria

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human‑resources activities for our operations in Syria. The role will support Tiryaki Agro’s agricultural supply‑chain business by ensuring effective recruitment, employee development, and compliance with local labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with business units and Centres of Excellence to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Provide guidance on labour‑law compliance, payroll entries, disciplinary actions and social‑security obligations.
• Lead organisational structuring, restructuring projects and the rollout of HR policies and procedures.
• Manage HR practices in industrial and factory environments, addressing field‑specific needs and enhancing employee engagement.
• Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, project‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing conditions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of HR processes and local Syrian labour legislation.
• Experience with HR compliance, employee relations and performance‑management systems.
