IT Product Manager – Fintech & Banking

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and hands‑on IT Product Manager to join a leading fintech company in Damascus. Reporting to the CTO, you will bridge business needs, technology, and user experience while guiding the development team through product planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap and feature prioritisation aligned with the fintech strategy.
• Translate business, regulatory and market requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to ensure product decisions fit the technical architecture and scalability goals.
• Support development teams by providing detailed requirements, feature ideas and continuous feedback during sprint planning, backlog grooming and product reviews.
• Oversee the creation of digital payment solutions, wallets, banking integrations and other financial services features, ensuring compliance with regulations and security standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Technology, Compliance, Operations, Marketing) and monitor product performance KPIs to drive enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–6 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of digital payments, banking systems, financial products and regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working closely with development teams and technical leaders.
