Senior Consultant – Transition Management Office (Telco)

About the role

We are seeking 2‑3 Senior Consultants to help a leading telecommunications provider in the Middle East establish a Transition Management Office (TMO) in Syria. The role will involve designing the TMO operating model and delivering core PMO functions over an initial six‑month period, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the TMO operating model aligned with the client’s strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain an integrated master plan covering all transition activities.
• Establish governance cadence, reporting mechanisms, and escalation procedures.
• Manage risk and issue registers, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to drive seamless transition execution.

Required profile

• Up to 6 years of consulting experience (SC/C level).
• Strong background in the telecommunications sector, preferably in the Middle East.
• Fluent Arabic language skills.
• Availability to work onsite in Syria for at least six months.
• Prior experience setting up or running a Transition Management Office or PMO.
