Senior HR Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day HR activities in our Damascus office. The role ensures efficient service delivery, legal compliance, and consistent implementation of HR policies across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, transfers, promotions, and off‑boarding.
• Oversee payroll inputs, attendance tracking, leave administration, and employee benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Syrian labour laws and internal company policies.
• Lead HR operations initiatives and continuously improve processes and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate HR data and prepare regular reports and workforce analytics.
• Support employee‑relations matters and provide guidance to managers and employees.
• Coordinate with Recruitment, Government Relations, Finance, and other departments.
• Manage and develop the HR Operations team.
• Support HR audits and ensure employee documentation is complete and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll coordination, employee relations and Syrian labour regulations.
• Experience managing HR systems and employee databases.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Current residence in Syria preferred.
