Social Behavior Change Educator – Idleb, Syria

About the role

MedGlobal is seeking a dedicated Social Behavior Change (SBC) Educator to lead health awareness campaigns in Idleb, Syria. The role involves direct community engagement through home visits and public outreach to promote healthier behaviors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing awareness campaigns at the health center and in public venues such as schools and community gathering places.
• Act as a liaison between beneficiaries and the services offered at the center.
• Perform sensitivity assessments, identify cases that meet predefined criteria, and tailor messages to individual situations.
• Manage cases while adhering to privacy protocols and maintaining accurate records.
• Make internal and external referrals, update feedback and referral forms, and ensure proper case follow‑up.

Required profile

• Experience in community health outreach or behavior‑change initiatives.
• Ability to conduct assessments, manage cases, and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with beneficiaries and service providers.
