About the role
The Social Behavior Change (SBC) Educator will lead health awareness campaigns by visiting homes and public places throughout Al‑Bab and surrounding communities. The role connects beneficiaries with services offered at the MedGlobal center and tailors messages to individual needs. It requires careful assessment, case management, and coordination with internal and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing awareness campaigns at the center and in public facilities such as schools and community gathering places.
- Serve as a link between beneficiaries and the services available at the center.
- Perform sensitivity assessments and identify cases in need according to predetermined criteria, focusing on changing community behavior through thorough assessment and tailored messaging.
- Manage cases while adhering to privacy protocols and obtaining individual consent.
- Make internal and external referrals, update feedback and referral forms, and maintain case files.
- Ensure compliance with organizational protocols on privacy and case management.
