Social Media Manager

About the role

IN2IN2 is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead digital campaigns that promote project services and success stories across target governorates. The role focuses on creating engaging, culturally‑sensitive content that supports stabilisation and peacebuilding efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day digital content strategy and campaign delivery on major social platforms.
• Produce, schedule, and publish stabilisation and peacebuilding content in coordination with the editorial team.
• Monitor reach, engagement and audience sentiment using analytics tools and adjust strategy to meet monthly targets.
• Manage paid dissemination and boosted posts on Facebook, X and Telegram to maximise audience reach.
• Align social media output with radio programmes and field activities by coordinating with the radio team and Syria Field Officers.
• Onboard, mentor and review content from youth "City Recovery Ambassadors" contributing to social media feeds.
• Ensure all content complies with client branding, visibility and safeguarding guidelines.
• Watch platform integrity and flag any risks of suppression, account restrictions or safety concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing or a related field.
• Up to 7 years of experience managing social media, preferably in a Syrian or Levant context.
• Background in NGOs, international development or stabilisation sectors.
• Proven track record of multi‑platform digital campaigns, including paid dissemination.
• Experience with social listening and analytics tools.
