Technical Instructor – Interior Design (TVET) – Daily Paid

About the role

UNRWA is seeking a Technical Instructor specialized in Interior Design to deliver TVET programmes on a daily‑paid basis in Damascus. The incumbent will support the design, delivery and assessment of school‑based and work‑based learning for Palestine refugees.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and development of learning programmes, curricula and learning guides, including occupational and competency analyses.
• Facilitate delivery of school‑based and work‑based programmes, preparing training venues, selecting trainees and developing inclusive lesson plans.
• Integrate adult learning strategies, accommodate trainees with disabilities, and mainstream Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core life‑skills.
• Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, develop assessment sheets and grids, and implement inclusive skills assessment plans.
• Build linkages with employers and TVET instructors, collect labour market information and contribute to skills‑needs analyses.

Required profile

• Reports to the assigned Senior TVET Instructor or Deputy Principal of the Training Centre.
• Available to work onsite in Damascus on a daily‑paid basis.
