Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of business and functional requirements for a client customization project. You will work closely with business teams, subject‑matter experts, architects, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood, prioritized, and delivered successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement‑gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Document business, functional, non‑functional requirements, user stories, process flows, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze existing processes, systems, spreadsheets, reports, and manual workflows to define the target solution.
• Support definition of system modules, dashboards, reports, screens, approvals, notifications, and integration needs.
• Maintain a requirements traceability matrix across all project phases.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, and QA teams to translate requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Assist with backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and change control.
• Prepare UAT test cases, validation scenarios, and business acceptance documentation.
• Support user training, business readiness, and post‑go‑live issue triage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on software delivery, ERP, CRM, workflow automation or digital transformation projects.
• Experience in telecom, infrastructure delivery, engineering, utilities or government‑sector environments is a plus.
• Proven ability to produce BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, process maps, user stories and UAT documentation.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
