Entrepreneurship & Capacity Development Trainer (Al Bab/Sfera)

About the role

The Entrepreneurship and Capacity Development Trainer will design and deliver specialized training programmes for farmers and agricultural cooperative members in Al Bab/Sfera. The role focuses on building participants' skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, agricultural economics and leadership to foster sustainable agricultural enterprises and improve livelihoods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review training materials in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Develop training agendas and implementation plans aligned with project objectives.
• Deliver training sessions using effective, participatory methodologies.
• Assess trainee knowledge and performance through pre‑ and post‑training evaluations.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback to participants.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on training activities and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in adult education, training or capacity‑building programmes.
• Background in agriculture, rural development or related fields.
• Strong understanding of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and agricultural economics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to travel to training sites and work on‑site.
