About the role
The Human Resources Assistant will join Lorans Medical’s HR team in Damascus, providing essential support for daily HR operations. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures smooth administration of employee records, recruitment processes, onboarding, benefits, and training logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records, HR documents, and HRIS databases.
- Assist in coordinating recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding of new hires.
- Support benefits administration, including leave tracking and responding to basic employee inquiries.
- Help organize training sessions, maintain training records, and manage attendance files.
- Respond promptly to employee questions and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
- Collaborate with HR management and other departments to promote a positive employee experience.
Required profile
- Foundational knowledge and practical experience in Human Resources or HR Management.
- Ability to work with HRIS and keep accurate digital HR records.
- Experience with benefits administration and basic employee benefits inquiries.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
- Effective written and verbal communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency with office software and comfort with administrative tasks.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Damascus and collaborate with an international team.
