About the role
Al Badia Cement JSC is hiring a Junior System Administrator for a full-time, on-site position in Damascus. The role supports and maintains the company's IT infrastructure and systems, working under the guidance of senior IT staff.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor server performance and assist with user account management
- Install and update software and apply basic security best practices
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide first-level technical support to employees
- Escalate complex problems when necessary
- Help maintain network connectivity and support backup and recovery procedures
- Contribute to documenting systems, procedures and incidents
- Collaborate with other IT and operational teams to keep technology services reliable, secure and efficient
