Mechanical BIM Engineer (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Drainage)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical BIM Engineer to develop and manage BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and drainage systems on construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with architectural, structural and electrical teams to ensure coordinated, clash‑free designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and drainage systems using Revit.
• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) aligned with approved designs.
• Produce shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and electrical disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and propose design solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Support BIM workflow optimisation and best‑practice implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and drainage design.
• Hands‑on experience with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of international mechanical codes and standards.
• Experience preparing BOQ and technical documentation is a plus.
