Production Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of ADES oil and gas production assets in Syria. You will be responsible for meeting production targets, maximizing facility availability, and ensuring strict adherence to operational and process‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily oil, gas and water production in line with ADES QHSSE requirements, approved procedures and applicable regulations.
• Monitor production performance, identify constraints, manage downtime and drive timely recovery and optimisation actions.
• Coordinate operations across wells, gathering systems, processing facilities, utilities, storage and export points.
• Align preventive and corrective maintenance, shutdowns and asset‑integrity priorities with Maintenance, Engineering and HSE teams.
• Lead supervisors, operators and contractors, ensuring clear accountability, safe staffing and workforce competence.
• Report operational KPIs, risks and costs; manage budgets and contractor performance without compromising safety or reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of upstream production experience, including at least 5 years in a production leadership role.
• Strong on‑shore experience covering production facilities from wellhead to export.
• Fluency in Arabic and English with proven leadership, decision‑making and stakeholder‑management abilities.
