RMNCH In‑service Training Lead

About the role

The project aims to strengthen the Syrian Ministry of Health’s institutional capacity and governance. The RMNCH In‑service Training Lead will provide clinical and technical leadership for in‑service training on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, with a focus on obstetrics and gynaecology.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver and enhance in‑service training activities related to RMNCH.
• Develop healthcare workforce competencies through practical training, mentorship and collaboration with Ministry of Health institutions and other stakeholders.
• Support evidence‑based medical practice and clinical knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Syrian Board certification, Master’s degree or completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Experience as a trainer in RMNCH workshops (certificate required).
• Demonstrated knowledge and clinical practice experience in Syria in RMNCH areas.
• Fluent Arabic (written and spoken); basic English is an advantage.
