Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead the cost management function for civil and building projects, overseeing all financial aspects from inception through final account. The role ensures expenditures are minimized and revenues maximized while maintaining strong relationships with employers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of civil and building project requirements.
• Administer subcontractor agreements and enforce company procedures.
• Coordinate with site construction and technical teams to collect progress data.
• Manage client site instructions, variation orders, and ensure timely submission of payment applications.
• Prepare, monitor, and update cash flow forecasts and project budgets on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years overall experience, including at least 5 years in a relevant quantity surveying role.
• Experience in the GCC region is considered a plus.
