Support Services Director – Syria

About the role

The Support Services Director will lead support services for Relief International’s country office in Damascus, Syria. Reporting directly to the Country Director, the role involves up to 30 % travel to support program sites and partners across the country. Relief International is an international non‑profit organization that works with communities affected by conflict, climate change and disaster to save lives, build resilience and promote long‑term health and wellbeing. The organization’s team of more than 4,000 staff and local volunteers operates in 14 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, delivering health and nutrition, WASH, education and livelihoods programming. It works with local actors to develop safe, inclusive, evidence‑based, conflict‑sensitive and climate‑smart programmes that reach those in need. The position is based in the Damascus country office and contributes to the overall mission of delivering humanitarian assistance and building community resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Travel up to 30 % of the time to oversee and coordinate support activities.
