Business Development Specialist

About the role

Brand Aid, a multi‑country marketing, advertising and production agency, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand its presence in the Syrian market. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities across POSM, events, activations, exhibitions, luxury, fit‑out and retail services and turning them into signed contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the full range of Brand Aid services.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, pitches and pricing structures.
• Develop and maintain a network of decision‑makers and stakeholders in Syria.
• Collaborate with account management and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover of new accounts.
• Track pipeline status, conversion rates and revenue targets, reporting to senior management.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Represent Brand Aid at networking events, exhibitions and industry gatherings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or events.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building a robust pipeline.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Solid understanding of POSM, events, activations, exhibitions, luxury, fit‑out or retail sectors.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Based in Syria.
