Community Mobilizer

About the role

The Community Mobilizer will be based in Damascus, Syria, reporting to the project coordinator and projects manager. The role leads community engagement activities within the Health and Nutrition project to strengthen community participation, promote positive health and nutrition behaviours, and improve utilisation of primary healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead community engagement activities under the Health and Nutrition project.
• Strengthen community participation in health and nutrition initiatives.
• Promote positive health and nutrition behaviours among community members.
• Improve community utilisation of primary healthcare services.
• Collaborate closely with community health volunteers and faith leaders.
