Inventory Management Subject Matter Expert

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and manage all inventory management activities for a large‑scale telecom project. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability throughout the program lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational and technical activities related to the Inventory Management System (IMS).
• Support IMS procurement, testing, acceptance, and integration with other telecom systems.
• Coordinate upgrades, ensure continuous IMS functionality, and manage handover activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders, providing technical guidance.
• Maintain compliance with telecom industry standards, project governance, and operational procedures.
• Prepare technical reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates.
• Conduct risk assessments, issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Participate in technical reviews, audits, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, operations, or project management.
• Strong understanding of telecom service delivery environments and governance.
• Proven experience working with telecom operators, vendors, or system integrators.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
