Junior Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity (Hybrid, Damascus)

About the role

Advanced Business Solutions MENA FZCO is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer to join its cybersecurity team. Based in Damascus with a hybrid work model, you will support the sales organization by translating customer needs into technical solutions and assisting with product demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer and partner inquiries regarding cybersecurity solutions.
• Prepare proposals, technical documentation, and product demonstration materials.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, validate, and customize security solutions.
• Provide basic pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support, including troubleshooting and case management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ABS’s portfolio, industry trends, and emerging threats.
• Support channel partners across the MENA region as required.

Required profile

• Strong ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Effective verbal and written communication with a customer‑focused approach.
• Foundational sales skills, including opportunity follow‑up and basic negotiation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with remote teams across the MENA region.
