Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure Experience

About the role

Paymera is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the full lifecycle of its development and deployment environments. You will ensure the infrastructure is reliable, secure, and performant while collaborating closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage development, testing, staging, and production environments on cloud and on‑premises platforms.
• Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident investigation with root‑cause analysis.
• Apply security best practices, including access control, secret management, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Provide technical support during releases and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud engineering.
• Proven experience operating production cloud workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Docker, containerization).
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform or Ansible.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Monitoring and logging tools, networking fundamentals, and security/access management.
• Nice‑to‑have: Kubernetes and experience in fintech, banking, or payments environments.
