Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer – EPC and Concessions leads operational, technical and functional planning activities across EPC and concession projects. You will ensure alignment with organisational standards, business objectives and regulatory requirements while driving performance, coordination and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day planning activities, ensuring efficient execution, compliance with procedures and achievement of operational targets.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, contractors and operational tasks to meet approved timelines.
• Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, clients and operational teams to resolve issues and align technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, HSE requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, service standards and quality benchmarks; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare operational reports, technical records, progress updates, cost analyses and management presentations.
• Optimize utilisation of manpower, equipment, budgets and materials to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Identify operational risks, technical challenges and performance issues; implement mitigation and escalation measures.
• Support quality assurance and quality control procedures and contribute to process enhancements, digital initiatives and workflow optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the Power, Energy or Solar industry.
• Strong understanding of operational requirements, standards, workflows and EPC/concession processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead planning activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
