Conflict Sensitivity, Community Governance & Participatory Implementation Consultancy

About the role

Prosper Global is seeking an experienced consultant to provide technical support for the final phase of its RENEW Project in Syria. The role focuses on conflict‑sensitive facilitation, participatory community engagement and collaborative planning to strengthen inclusive governance and improve service delivery in seven target sub‑districts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver conflict‑sensitive facilitation and participatory engagement activities across seven sub‑districts in three governorates.
• Support inclusive decision‑making and stakeholder coordination between communities, local authorities and project partners.
• Enhance the quality, transparency and accountability of Result 3 implementation using remote tools and available project documentation.
• Collaborate with Prosper Global field teams to collect data, conduct virtual workshops and provide on‑the‑ground facilitation when required.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to inform agricultural recovery assistance and other project components.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian programmes focusing on community governance, conflict‑sensitive facilitation or participatory planning.
• Familiarity with the Syrian context and with multi‑sectoral interventions (food security, WASH, mine action).
• Ability to work remotely, manage virtual engagements and coordinate with field teams.
• Fluent English (Arabic proficiency preferred) and strong analytical and communication skills.
