Cost Controller – Telecom Project Cost Management

About the role

Own cost planning, monitoring, and control across all project phases. Deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Enforce financial governance and drive cost visibility through structured dashboards and data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) across OSP, ISP, DC, and Exchange domains, tracking actual costs, commitments, and forecasts.
• Conduct cost variance, trend, and Earned Value Analysis, identifying deviations early and recommending corrective actions.
• Validate quantities, BOQs, and contractor submissions before invoicing, and monitor contractor cost performance and resource utilization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc cost reports, maintain dashboards and financial models in Excel, Power BI, and ERP, ensuring compliance with client financial processes.
• Coordinate with procurement, contracts, material management, and project controls to track material costs, inventory value, and support ERP data integrity and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in cost control, project controls, or financial management within telecom or infrastructure.
• Strong command of CAPEX/OPEX planning, cost control methodologies, and financial reporting.
• Fluent in Arabic (must).
