Deputy Country Director for Programs – Damascus

About the role

The Deputy Country Director for Programs will be based in Damascus, Syria. The position starts on 01/08/26 for a six‑month fixed‑term mission, supporting Solidarités International’s humanitarian response in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Country Director in overseeing programme activities.
• Contribute to the planning and monitoring of water, sanitation, hygiene and food security interventions.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in humanitarian programme management.
• Ability to work in a conflict‑affected environment.

• Program/project management.
