Education Team Lead

About the role

World Vision is seeking an Education Team Lead to oversee its Education in Emergencies and school rehabilitation programmes in the Aleppo‑Azaz area of Syria. Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Protection Coordinator, the role ensures effective field‑level implementation of the ECHO‑funded multisectoral support action for the most vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of education‑in‑emergencies activities across the project area.
• Manage school rehabilitation interventions, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Collaborate with the Protection Coordinator to integrate child protection considerations into all education actions.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to the Project Manager on programme progress and challenges.

Required profile

• Experience managing education programmes in humanitarian settings.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Project Manager and in coordination with protection staff.
• Familiarity with donor‑funded multisectoral projects, particularly those funded by ECHO.
