Enterprise Support Officer – TVET (Daily Paid)

About the role

The Enterprise Support Officer will support TVET programmes by delivering entrepreneurship activities that help Palestine refugees develop viable income‑generating enterprises. This daily‑paid position is based in the Damascus area and reports to the Principal of TVET.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business entrepreneurship support activities in line with project objectives and work plans.
• Design and update entrepreneurship training materials and curricula based on labour‑market needs and beneficiary profiles.
• Identify, screen, and register eligible beneficiaries according to approved criteria.
• Conduct market and business opportunity assessments to pinpoint viable income‑generating options.
• Deliver entrepreneurship training covering supplier linkages, costing, pricing, marketing strategies, financial literacy, customer relations, market analysis, and competitor assessment.
• Provide individual and group coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to entrepreneurs.
• Promote innovative initiatives focusing on digitalisation, green enterprises, and sustainable business models.
• Establish partnerships with government bodies, private sector, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, micro‑finance providers, and NGOs to improve financing access.
• Manage distribution of business toolkits to eligible entrepreneurs, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
• Organise entrepreneurship events, business forums, networking activities, competitions, and exhibitions.
• Conduct regular field visits and continuous follow‑up with beneficiaries.
