Finance Officer

About the role

SYCAC is seeking a Finance Officer to support day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations in Aleppo, Syria. Working under the Finance Manager, the role ensures accurate transaction processing, organized bookkeeping, sound reconciliations and full compliance with SYCAC’s financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain organized bookkeeping records.
• Perform financial reconciliations and ensure documentation completeness.
• Apply SYCAC’s financial policies to all transactions.
• Support the Finance Manager in routine finance operations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Capacity to work under supervision and meet reporting deadlines.
