About the role

Second Step Syria is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Financial Accounting Advisory Services Manager based in Damascus, Syria. The role leads client engagements, delivers technical accounting solutions and supports organisations facing complex financial reporting challenges.

Key responsibilities

Lead IFRS and financial accounting advisory engagements.
Manage client relationships, project delivery, budgets and risk.
Provide technical guidance on accounting standards and financial reporting.
Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
Identify business development opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

Required profile

Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
CPA, CA or ACCA qualification.
At least 5 years of relevant audit or advisory experience.
Proven leadership, client management and business development skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
