Fleet Maintenance Supervisor – Automotive / Car Rental

About the role

VIP Rent A Car is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the reliability and availability of its vehicle fleet in Damascus. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manage spare parts, and work closely with drivers and operations to keep downtime to a minimum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs, and emergency maintenance.
• Monitor vehicle condition, identify recurring mechanical issues, and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records for each vehicle.
• Control spare parts requirements and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with workshops, suppliers, and external maintenance providers.
• Follow up on repairs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare regular maintenance reports and track relevant KPIs.
• Work closely with drivers and the Operations team to maximize fleet availability.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in fleet or automotive maintenance.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair processes, and spare‑parts management.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of English.
• Currently based in Damascus and able to work on‑site.
