General Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a General Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and support month‑end and year‑end closings. You will collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance and deliver timely financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform account reconciliations for banks, vendors, and clients.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and handle legal/regulatory requirements.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Support procurement processes and purchase order tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience coordinating with auditors and handling legal/compliance matters.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
