General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead a glass processing company, overseeing operations, strategy, and growth while ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, identifying market growth opportunities.
• Oversee glass processing activities, optimize workflows, manage equipment maintenance, and ensure quality compliance.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor costs, analyze financial data, and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Lead, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering continuous improvement and performance evaluations.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and collaborate with sales and marketing to promote services.
• Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives, reducing waste and optimizing energy usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred); at least 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of glass processing techniques, industry standards, and large‑scale operations.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages welcomed.
• Strategic thinker with results‑driven approach and strong negotiation abilities.
