General Manager – Value-Added Products (VAP) – Syria

About the role

The Value‑Added Products (VAP) General Manager will lead the development and expansion of the after‑sales portfolio for a multi‑brand automotive service operation in Syria. This senior role combines technical know‑how with commercial acumen to drive revenue growth across lubricants, batteries, protective coatings, detailing and other aftermarket services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall VAP strategy, identifying new business opportunities and commercialising new offerings.
• Oversee daily operations of multi‑brand service centres, ensuring quality, safety and profitability.
• Lead product development for maintenance packages, prepaid service plans and bundled solutions.
• Set revenue targets, pricing models and product positioning for all VAP categories.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and optimise procurement.
• Develop KPIs, monitor financial performance and report results to senior leadership.
• Build, train and mentor a high‑performing operational and commercial team.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in automotive after‑sales or related industries.
• Proven track record in multi‑brand service centre setup, operations and management.
• Experience with lubricant, battery and aftermarket distribution businesses.
• Background in coating/protection and detailing services (PPF, PPC, tinting, rust‑proofing).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to grow revenue streams.
• Technical background in automotive systems or after‑sales operations.
