Integrated Management System (IMS) Director

About the role

The Integrated Management System (IMS) Director leads the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the organization’s IMS, covering quality, environmental, occupational health & safety and business continuity. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures corporate and project activities comply with ISO standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the IMS across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, company policies and project quality plans.
• Plan, conduct and monitor internal, surveillance and compliance audits.
• Develop and maintain IMS policies, procedures, manuals, standards and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate ISO certification, recertification and external audits with certification bodies.
• Monitor quality performance, identify non‑conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide strategic guidance to QA/QC and IMS teams across business units.
• Lead risk management, business continuity, environmental and occupational health & safety initiatives.
• Deliver training, awareness programmes and technical guidance on IMS standards.
• Collaborate with departments and project teams to strengthen quality culture and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Lead Auditor certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22301 (preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in IMS, QA/QC or compliance management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within IMS or Quality Management.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or large‑scale project environments.
• Master’s degree or additional professional certifications are an advantage.
