Media Assistant (Photographer) – Field Documentation

About the role

We are looking for a Media Assistant (Photographer) to support the media department of Ghiras Al‑Nahda in Eastern Ghouta. The role involves capturing high‑quality photos and videos of field activities, documenting the humanitarian impact of projects, and helping to produce visual materials that align with the organization’s brand and donor guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Photograph field activities, projects and events accurately and professionally.
• Produce short videos that illustrate the humanitarian outcomes for beneficiaries.
• Archive and organise all media files for easy retrieval and reference.
• Coordinate with the Media Coordinator and field teams to set filming priorities and schedules.
• Assist in preparing monthly project documentation reports.
• Write concise titles or descriptions for photos and videos as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in field photography and video recording, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency with organizational guidelines.
• Good organisational skills for managing media archives.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field staff and media supervisors.
