Medical Sales Representative – Ophthalmology

About the role
The company seeks a motivated Medical Sales Representative to manage and grow accounts within an assigned ophthalmology territory. The role involves mapping the territory, achieving sales targets, and promoting both new and existing products.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the marketing plan set by management, introducing new products and reinforcing existing ones.
- Stay updated on industry developments and share relevant articles and studies with retailers, practitioners, and colleagues.
- Provide product training to practitioners and their assistants.
- Maintain a professional image, demonstrate superior product knowledge, and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Conduct a minimum of 15 daily sales calls, present recent studies, discuss industry updates, and close sales deals.
- Prepare quotations, manage orders, and follow up on client payments.
- Track customer history, update records, and submit daily activity reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (MBA is a plus).
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical or ophthalmology field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent time‑management and a team‑player attitude.
- Fluency in English.
