Owner – Business Operations Leader

About the role

AutoID Systems is seeking an Owner to lead the company’s daily operations and long‑term strategy. Based on‑site in the Ancient City of Damascus Region, you will drive business growth, oversee financial performance, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality identification and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of business operations, including budgeting, cash‑flow oversight, and compliance with legal, financial, and safety regulations.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Supervise staff, foster a collaborative culture, and ensure accountability across teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and clients to maintain efficient product and service delivery.
• Monitor performance metrics, address operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the company in external meetings, negotiations, and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business ownership, entrepreneurship, or senior operational leadership.
• Strong financial management capabilities, including budgeting and cash‑flow oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Experience in sales, client relationship management, and business development.
• Familiarity with technology‑driven or systems‑based businesses; automation or identification solutions experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Damascus and engage directly with local stakeholders.
