Payroll Specialist

About the role

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for preparing and processing monthly payroll, ensuring accurate salary calculations, attendance records, overtime, leaves, allowances, and deductions. The role also involves maintaining confidential payroll records, coordinating with HR and Finance to ensure timely salary payments, and resolving payroll discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately.
• Maintain attendance, overtime, leave, allowance, and deduction records.
• Keep confidential payroll files up to date.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance for timely salary disbursements.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries.
• Prepare regular payroll reports.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, social security requirements, and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in payroll processing and salary calculations.
• Good knowledge of labor laws, payroll procedures, and social security requirements.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with payroll systems.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
