P&C Recruitment and Selection Specialist

About the role

World Vision is seeking a dedicated Recruitment and Selection Specialist to lead talent acquisition for Jordan, Syria, and Türkiye. You will manage the end‑to‑end hiring process, ensuring a fair, transparent, and compliant experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary recruitment point of contact for the three countries.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from requisition to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and competencies.
• Prepare, post, and manage job advertisements on platforms such as Workday, Akhtaboot, ReliefWeb, Gelbasla, and KOBO.
• Screen applications, create long‑ and short‑lists, coordinate interviews and assessments.
• Conduct reference checks and support background screening processes.
• Prepare offers, negotiate salaries, and ensure collection of required documentation.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, compile statistics, and produce monthly summary reports for senior leadership.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and update SOPs based on feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably in humanitarian or international NGOs.
• Strong understanding of equal‑opportunity and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple vacancies.
