Retail & Restaurant Project Manager

About the role

Pivotal Construction is looking for an experienced Retail & Restaurant Project Manager to lead commercial retail, quick‑service restaurant (QSR) and restaurant construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. The role demands a proactive leader who can ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met while collaborating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retail, QSR and restaurant construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead communication between clients, architects, engineers, vendors and field teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and submittals.
• Coordinate permitting, procurement, inspections and project closeout.
• Track costs, change orders, RFIs and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations and timelines.
• Collaborate with superintendents and field personnel to resolve issues proactively.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong experience managing retail, QSR and restaurant projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Salary range $130,000–$155,000 DOE.
