Sales Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Memaar Building Systems FZC is seeking a full‑time remote Sales Engineer to promote its pre‑engineered steel building (PEB) and sandwich panel solutions. The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to support clients from initial inquiry through project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective and existing clients to understand project requirements and propose suitable PEB or sandwich panel solutions.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial offers, including product presentations and detailed proposals.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, production, and project teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support, troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and oversee hand‑over to execution teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in CRM tools and contribute market feedback for product improvement.
• Support customer service activities to ensure high client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering background with ability to translate technical specifications into practical solutions.
• Proven technical support and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presentations and proposal drafting.
• Demonstrated sales experience including lead qualification, negotiation and relationship management.
• Customer‑focused attitude with timely response and professional handling of inquiries.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, architecture) or equivalent technical discipline preferred.
• Experience in steel structures, PEB, construction or building‑materials industry is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively and handle multiple projects concurrently.
