Sales Support Officer

About the role

The Sales Support Officer provides essential administrative and operational assistance to the Sales Engineer throughout the sales cycle. The role ensures quotations, orders, and documentation are accurate and that client and internal coordination runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Engineer to support the sales process and meet client deadlines.
• Prepare and issue quotations based on commercial requirements.
• Create sales orders, production requests, and related documents after deal confirmation.
• Obtain client approvals, confirmations, and required documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate client and order data in the CRM/ERP system.
• Coordinate with Production, Shipping, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
• Track shipping arrangements and manage delivery documentation.
• Liaise with Finance for invoicing and payment documentation.
• Maintain organized records of sales documents and transactions.
• Handle cashbox operations, recording cash transactions accurately.
• Follow up on pending actions to secure timely approvals and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational, follow‑up, and detail‑orientation skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and manage priorities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency).
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) – advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems – advantage.
