Senior Backend .NET Developer (Remote)

About the role

Xpress Automation seeks a Senior Backend .NET Developer to join a remote, multidisciplinary team building automotive software for enterprise clients. You will own AI, IoT.NET and analytics microservices, ensuring they meet performance and SLA targets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse system requirements and design development plans.
• Write clean, testable .NET code and review peer contributions.
• Develop technical specifications, architecture, and API governance.
• Test, debug, and deploy microservices in Azure environments.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications.
• Support junior developers and document operational procedures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong background in building API‑first, headless microservices with event‑driven architecture.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data stores.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Upper‑Intermediate English (B2+) communication skills.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Nice to have experience with Node.js or PHP.
