Senior Ecommerce Manager

About the role

The Senior Ecommerce Manager will lead the company’s ecommerce strategy and execution from our Damascus office. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive online sales, optimise the customer journey, and coordinate digital marketing initiatives to boost traffic and conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the ecommerce roadmap across all online channels.
• Manage product listings, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with IT, sales and marketing teams to ensure platform stability and continuous enhancements.
• Analyse performance metrics, generate regular reports and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in ecommerce, digital business or IT‑enabled services.
• Strong background in sales and marketing within online environments.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ecommerce platforms, online marketplaces and SaaS‑based retail solutions.
