Social Media Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Officer to lead Paymera’s online presence in Damascus. The role blends creativity with strong communication, ensuring our brand voice is consistent, engaging, and aligned with company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Paymera’s social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries.
• Develop and write engaging content for posts, blogs, newsletters, and campaigns.
• Create and manage professional LinkedIn content and company page activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars.
• Monitor online conversations, trends, and competitor activity to improve engagement.
• Prepare performance reports and provide insights for optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in social media management and content writing.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in Arabic and English.
• Proven experience in LinkedIn content creation and account management.
• Familiarity with social media management tools.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
